Vivo Launches Smartphone With Display-Based Fingerprint Sensor Globally

#Vivo, the Chinese smartphone manufacturer showcased a prototype smartphone at Consumer Electronics Show #CES2018 on January with a display-based fingerprint sensor. The company launched the Vivo X21 UD device next month after CES2018 in its home country; China few months after the initial launch.

VIVO has now decided to bring this handset to other markets around the globe. The display-based fingerprint sensor is not the only amazing feature, the Vivo smartphone features a 6.28 inch 18:9 aspect ratio OLED display with 2160×1080 pixel resolution that powers up with a Qualcomm Snapdragon 660 chip under the hood and a 12 megapixel dual camera system at the back as well as a 3,905mAh battery.

Vivo has now decided to push their devices in other markets outside of China. Singapore is their first coumtry where the company has started selling this handset through M1, StarHub, and other authorized retailers.

 

The company has priced it at SGD 799 in the Singapore It’s going to be available for sale in Singapore starting May 5th. We may The Vivo X21 UD device will be soon seen sold in other markets in the near future but the company hasn’t confirm which market is going to receive this handset next.
