Samsung’s Unprecedented Recall of the Galaxy Note 7

FavoriteLoadingBookmark

Samsung has recalled nearly 2.5 million Galaxy Note 7 smartphones just a couple of weeks after they went on sale due to  problems users faced with the battery exploding.

There have been 35 reported cases of the Note 7 phones either exploding or catching fire, and Samsung decided to recal all the units it has produced.

The company says with many reported cases with the battery exploding, they have identified the problem and will be rectifying it in the coming weeks. So if you already bought a Note 7, you should return the device or exchange it with another updated Samsung device that is considered safe.
