Evan Blass, a serial leaker obtained an image back in March that featured a few specs of the HTC U12 such as 12MP and16MP dual camera on the back and 8MP on the front but it’s showing no signs of a headphone jack, which is a feature that HTC abandoned last year.
Its curious to see what HTC will launch even after selling of majority of its phone business to Google. HTC U12 will be launched a week after OnePlus 6.
HTC’s next flagship will face hard competition from other Android devices as rumours suggest the flagship will feature a Snapdragon 845 with 6GB RAM. It will come with a choice of 64GB or 128GB internal storage and a roughly battery of about 3,500mAh which most devices already have, HTC needs to distinguish itself to beat the powerful brands already popular such as Samsung S8/S8+, S9/S9+, iPhone 8 and X and others to follow.
