Apple is Aggressively Pushing iPhone Users to use Apple Pay

According to The Wall Street Journal, Apple is aggressively forcing iPhone users to use Apple Pay by constantly reminding users to provide their credit card details to activate the mobile payment service. If you are an Apple iPhone user, you might notice a red badge on the settings icon on the home screen.

Tapping on the settings icon reveals a message from Apple reminding you to add the credit card details.

Apple benefits twice by recieving a 0.15% of the amount of a completed credit card transaction using Apple Pay. The company also recieves a flat amount for each debit card transaction. With this Apple generated $29 billion in revenue from Apple Pay last year.
