After Two Lawsuits Filed – Apple Finally Apologizes

Apple finally apologized for the iPhone slowdown scandal.

We know that some of you feel Apple has let you down. We apologize”.

#Apple wrote lengthy letters to customers explaining why iPhone’s with older battery slowed down and announced they will place new measures to fix the concerns.

Apple has reduced battery replacement from $79 to $29 for a new battery and has given users time to replace until December 2018. On top of that, Apple will release new iOS features that will give users more info on their iPhone’s battery.

First, Apple never admited that it misled iPhone users when it released the iOS 10.2.1 update last year. Apple never told users that iPhone’s battery has a certain age when the iOS will slow down the phones.

Apple failed to properly explain it’s users of what’s going on.

“At Apple, our customers’ trust means everything to us. We will never stop working to earn and maintain it. We are able to do the work we love only because of your faith and support — and we will never forget that or take it for granted,”

Apple took the user’s faith and support for granted.

With recent feedback from users stating they have faced slow performance on their Apple devices due two factors:
Users face a temprorary performance impact when Apple sends out iOS upgrades for their devices with new software and updated apps, and minor bugs initially fixed.

And even with the new information from Apple theory that the continued aging of batteries of older iPhone’s which are running original batteries are the cause for temporary performance slow downs.

So Apple is basically telling us that when they add new features and fixed minor bugs on their iOS updates, they do not test their iOS updates properly with the older iPhone and they rush in sending out latest updates for users to install.

Another problem with Apple is that they wait for users feedback to find out the iOS update issues. They want users to figure out the problems and then wait for them to complain to Apple about it so that they can release another update. With this process Apple wants to show us that they care for our happiness which is not true after their recent lawsuit filed by iPhone users.

That’s how they realized that the iPhone slow down was due to Apple’s poor user experience on older iPhone 6 and iPhone 6s devices.

Apple has confirmed that iPhone 7 models are now included in the older iphones batch and will be effected with the throttling of the CPU.

It looks like the iPhone 8 and iPhone X are next?

Apple’s apology is far from perfect, and there are plenty of things .that users are still not happy with.
