Apple has started charging fees for Apple Music trials in some countries

Apple has started charging small fees for Apple Music for 3 months in some countries like Australia, Switzerland and Spain, they now must pay $ 0.99 cents trial to use the streaming service. Before Apple Music trial was free in each country as US and other countries, according to AppleInsider.

It is not clear why Apple has started charging for trials and whether they plan to add more countries to pay for trial usage of three months of streaming.

Apple initially planned to not pay royalties to artists during the three-month trials, but the company reversed course after facing a chorus of criticism from Taylor Swift and other musicians. Apple-Insider speculates that the company may now be trying to recover some of those costs with paid trial periods.
