Wave is another smartwatch from the offerings of Xtouch

In this age of wearables, we have seen several smartphone and electronics manufacturers introducing their piece of smartwatch, from the lately hits like the Pebble Steel, Qualcomm Toq and Samsung Galaxy Gear. But something that’s totally different from all the above mentioned, so far you may call it a fashionable and wearable Android powered smartphone, literally, than just a smartwatch that shows up notifications from the connected device.

Yes, as you can see from above and below, we are talking about the Chinese producer’s, Wave“Redefine the Watch.” This wrist friendly smart device can be used as a regular phone, that runs on the Android platform, and works with almost any applications from Google Play, sporting a camera along with voice calling facilities on 3G networks and promotes IP 65 class certification proving it to be completely water proof.

The Xtouch Wave will feature a Dual-Core MTK processor with Cortex-A7 CPU speeding at 1.2GHz, 1.54-inches LG manufactured screen of 240 x 240 pixels resolution, four gigabytes of internal mass memory (expandable via microSD card slot), 512 megabytes of RAM, a three megapixels camera on the right side, also giving prominence to GPRS support for internet browsing, on board G-Sensor, GPS and Pedometer for some fitness, with Bluetooth 4.0 and 3G connectivity on WCDMA signals. The watch has got a good 600mAh powered battery and the whole unit runs on Android version 4.2 Jelly Bean.

The shipments are up for sales from Tanzania online retailer BongoGadgets, so if your from Tanzania region, you can buy the Wave for $215.
